Simba became the owner of the National Record of Ukraine

On June 27, 2021 in Kiev, Pushkin Park, the team of the initiative All-Ukrainian Dogs Day authored by the Japanese Spitz Simba, together with caring people and true friends set the National record of Ukraine "The longest edible delicacy for dogs", embodied in support of the initiative!

 

This record is included in the category of "Wildlife", and it became the first among the culinary records set for dogs!

 

Popular film actor and Honored Artist of Ukraine Dmytro Oskin became not only the star host of the event, but also its decoration.

 

A special guest of the event was a ballerina, Prima Ballerina of the National Opera of Ukraine - Anna Muromtseva.


 

With the long-awaited moment of fixing the record, a record expert Vitaliy Zorin in the presence of guests and media representatives: Ukraine 24 TV channel, 1 + 1 TV channel and Kyiv.Live TV channel - made measurements of the product, recording the length of Ukraine's new record "The longest edible delicacy for dogs" - 5 meters and 90 cm! The weight of the product was 120 kg!

 

This was followed by awarding of certificates to the holders and partners of the record. The names of each of them have already been written in the Book of National Records of Ukraine, and the record itself has been included in the circulation of the Book of National Records of Ukraine in 2021.

 

The owners of the record are:

 

- Japanese Spitz Simba and Yulia Strizhkina - authors of the initiative "All-Ukrainian Dogs Day" and the National record "The longest edible delicacy for dogs";

 

- Nina Khilyk kennel KINU LIUTAS KENNEL (owners: Nina Khilyk and Oleksandr Khilyk), are also the general sponsor of the initiative "All-Ukrainian Dogs Day" and this record;

 

- Oksana Kokhanych - a native of Ukraine, the founder of the Academy of Good Manners for Dogs O.K. Dog Monte-Carlo in Monaco & is also a sponsor of the set record.

The partners of the record are:

 

- meat restaurant "YAK na krylah". It was here that a chef Yuri Bugay baked record-breaking delicacies under the sensitive guidance of the restaurant's director and technologist Olena Tkachuk;

 

- Center of Modern Veterinary Medicine. It was his representative, veterinary nutritionist Olena Kovalyshyna, who carefully inspected the recipe, products and gave a veterinary opinion on the compliance and safety of the delicacy with all requirements;

 

- "ZooDrug" magazine, represented by director Oleksandr Adamyuk, has been a media partner of the All-Ukrainian Dogs Day initiative since the first days of its existence. Readers of "ZooDrug" magazine are the first to learn about the exclusive information of the initiative's projects;

 

- Dmytro Oskin, film actor, entertainer, TV-host and Honored Artist of Ukraine. A person who supports the initiative and has made a special contribution to the implementation of "All-Ukrainian Dogs Day" from its first day.

 

Interviews, commemorative photos, joyful hugs and exchange of impressions - that's how the official part of the event ended.

Then the guests began to taste the delicacies. The four-legged visitors took the sample with appetite, and the remaining part of the product was packed and immediately went to the dogs shelter of the Big Heart Charitable Foundation.

 

But the story of delicacies did not end there. 6 boxes were also gladly received by the head of the "Artemon" dog shelter in Boryspil Yuliya Opanasyuk.

 

We are very glad that the realization of our idea has benefited our younger brothers and we very much ask everyone not to forget about them and not to stay away!
